What is the Most You’d be Willing to Pay for a Phone Today?

The smartphone landscape is changing significantly every year. Newer tech has come up, things have gotten better and the smartphone experience has grown and grown. These days, what once needed an investment of upwards of $800 can be achieved by even the most budget of Android smartphones.

As a result, our expectations of how much value we can derive from our phones has changed over the years, vastly influencing our spending habits. The market as it stands now is no longer clearly demarcated between low, mid and high end. With every new Android device aiming to bring something new to the table and to its price segment, the lines have blurred away. We ask you:

How much are you willing to pay upfront for a smartphone today? Does a sub-$250 satisfy the majority of your smartphone needs? Or do you look for the most quality within the mainstream, and are comfortable with paying for it? Do you account for post-purchase services when you consider your budget?
