Google is Shutting Down OAuth 1.0 (2LO) Support on October 20th

Back in 2012, Google announced they were going to transition away from the OAuth 1.0 protocol in favor of OAuth 2.0. The company shut down support for apps using the OAuth 1.0 (3LO) protocol on April 20th 2015 and now they’ve announced when they’ll do the same for OAuth 1.0 (2LO). If you still have an app that uses OAuth 1.0 (2LO) after October 20th, it will have trouble connecting to Google.
