Elephone have launched the P9000 and P9000 Lite with a different approach than their previous phones. The company is currently holding a campaign whereby they are selling discount codes, for $5 you can purchase a $50 discount and for $3 you can purchase a $30 discount code. This is added to by them stating that the more people who purchase one of these codes, the lower the final price will be next month when they go on sale. At the time of writing over 2000 people have backed the P9000 meaning the final price will be around $200 and the P9000 Lite has over 2100 backers bringing the price down to just $150.
Elephone is also offering customers the chance to sign up as an Elephone VIP for $99.99 you will receive future freebies, discounts, promotions not available to others, and a $50 discount code for the P9000. You will also be entered into a competition to win a 50% discount code. However, by registering as a VIP you will automatically receive a link to share with your friends, if two of them then sign up as a VIP you will receive a free P9000.
The almost bezel-less phone ships with many of the features you would expect from a 2016 flagship: Android 6.0, 4GB of RAM, a fingerprint sensor, SD card support, wireless charging, USB Type C, NFC and quick charge.
